About Coffee & Cocktail Connections
Build your business relationships with professionals and small business owners who focus on success through networking and community service.
Weekly Meetings
The Coffee & Cocktail Connections are a free networking group that hosts a weekly forum where professionals meet and network together. There is zero commitment, no obligation, and no fees or dues. Meetings take place every Thursday from 8:30 am – 10:00 am except the third Thursday of the month which is an afternoon happy hour from 4 – 6 pm.
While the country is practicing social distancing, meetings are being held via Zoom. Each week an email is sent to the membership distribution list announcing the week’s speaker. A calendar of events is also available on Facebook and the website.
Coffee & Cocktail Connections also has a very active Facebook page and group. Here are the links to those:
Business Page: https://www.facebook.com/CoffeeAndCocktailConnections
Group Page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/919750388053735
Members post information about themselves and their business to the group page. It is used as a very active networking resource.

Happy Hours
Once a month, Coffee & Cocktail Connections hosts a happy hour sponsored by one of our members. The happy hour is free to our members and is a great chance for attendees to exchange business cards and to build their LinkedIn connections.
Happy hours are held at the sponsor’s choice of location. Happy Hours have been held at Holly Hills Country Club, Vanish Brewery, Stumpy’s Hatchet House, and at various other small businesses located throughout Frederick.
During the happy hour, there is no weekly speaker, instead just a chance to network with other professionals.
If you would be interested in hosting a happy hour or speaking at a weekly meeting, just email us at scheduling@ccconnections.com.
Community Service
The Coffee & Cocktail Connections is a service-based organization. Every month, the group provides volunteers to assist with breaking down approximately 5,000-10,000 pounds of food from the Maryland Food Bank. The group bags the food for distribution to the over 100 patients and families attending the Mission of Mercy free healthcare clinic as well as any other Frederick County residents in need.
Additionally, the group also provides volunteers once a month to the Frederick Community Action Agency. The volunteers split into two groups. One group serves on the food line for the Soup Kitchen, while others work next door bagging canned goods and staples to be distributed to Frederick County families in need.
